Dominic Chaklos

biography

Dominic Chaklos is a partner at LaPolt Law, P.C.  In representing a wide variety of talent in the music and entertainment industry, he advises clients on all aspects of their careers and helps them make informed decisions regarding business development and brand management.  His experience in the industry has given him a keen eye to recognize and approach both the opportunities and challenges that the firms’ clients encounter in the 21st century. 

Dominic has also worked with independent music labels and other entertainment industry stakeholders, and he has developed a proficiency in the field of music catalog and asset sales for both sellers and purchasers.

Dominic is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, where he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and concentrated his studies on intellectual property law.  In his free time, Dominic is an avid concert goer and enjoys action sports, especially snowboarding.
