biography
Lindsay Arrington is a partner at LaPolt Law who specializes in matters relating to electronic music, endorsements, and independent labels. She is passionate about helping the firm’s clients navigate new and cutting-edge opportunities, including NFTs and blockchain music distribution, music-related software and game development, and start-up streaming services. At LaPolt Law, Lindsay negotiates all variety of agreements relating to the music business, as well as endorsement and social media agreements for influencers, entrepreneurs and professionals across the entertainment industry.
Lindsay has spoken in panels around the world, including at Midem and Amsterdam Dance Event, in addition to participating in virtual panels and webinars for various entertainment trade organizations, like CalCPA and the Songwriters of North America. In 2019, Lindsay co-edited the International Association of Entertainment Lawyer’s annual book, Keeping It Honest: Transparency and Legal Issues in the Entertainment Industry.
Lindsay is a graduate of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she cultivated her passion for entertainment law, receiving a certificate in Media and Entertainment Law. Prior to law school, Lindsay studied graphic design at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude before leaving the creative field for a career in law. Lindsay is a die-hard Blink-182 fan, and when she’s not attending concerts, enjoys snowboarding and rock climbing.
