Mariana Alves Ament

BIOGRAPHY

Mariana is a graduate of UCLA School of Law. Born and raised in Brazil, she has always been passionate about art, music, and entertainment.

While in law school, Mariana gained experience in the music industry during an internship at Warner Music Group. Mariana was also a member and ambassador of UCLA Law Music Industry Clinic, where she negotiated deals on behalf of talents.

Prior to joining LaPolt Law, Mariana was an attorney in Big Law representing big tech clients mostly in litigating claims regarding intellectual property and data privacy. Besides that, Mariana has also worked at SAG-AFTRA, in the Entertainment Contracts department, overviewing high-budget productions to ensure protection for media artists.

Mariana’s work at LaPolt Law’s includes representing music and social media influencer clients in transactional entertainment and intellectual property matters.

In her free time, Mariana enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, hiking with her puppy and practicing yoga.
